What is ItsRecord?
ItsRecord is an iPhone app for keeping receipts, tracking purchases and expenses, managing inventory, and understanding where your money goes.
Does ItsRecord require an internet connection?
No. ItsRecord is designed to work locally on your iPhone. Receipt OCR is performed on-device using Apple's Vision framework.
Where is my data stored?
By default, your data is stored locally in the app's private storage on your iPhone. ItsRecord does not require an account and does not send your receipt data to an ItsRecord server.
Optional backups can be stored in a supported cloud-backed Files location selected by you.
Can I back up my data?
Yes. Backup is optional. After you choose a supported cloud-backed location through Apple's Files interface, ItsRecord can create backups automatically according to the schedule you select. You can also create a backup manually at any time.
What happens if I delete the app?
Deleting ItsRecord removes data stored in the app's private storage on that iPhone. If you plan to uninstall the app, make sure you have a current backup first.
